Membership Terms and Conditions

The Spokane Business Connections (SBC) networking group allows only one (1) member per business category. Each member is permitted to promote only the business category that has been approved by the membership committee. Additionally, members may not participate in other category-exclusive referral groups.

Attendance Agreement

Members are required to attend weekly morning meetings:

• Every Thursday from 7:00 am to 8:30 am, except on the first Thursday of each month located at JOYA, located at 1016 N Superior St, Spokane, WA 99202
• On the first Thursdays of each month, we host a casual social gathering from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Garland Brew Werks, 603 W Garland Ave., Spokane, WA 99205.

Consistent attendance is essential for both your success and the success of SBC. Members are expected to attend every meeting, with a maximum of three absences allowed within a six-month period. Inviting a qualified guest who attends (from an open professional category) will either erase a previous absence or be credited toward a future one. You may also send a substitute, such as an employee or business partner, which will not count as an absence.

Integrity

Maintaining integrity is crucial to ensuring that SBC remains valuable and beneficial to all members. If a member is found to be acting in a way that could harm their own reputation or that of the group, the following actions may be taken:

• Replace or remove a member whose reputation harms the group due to unlawful conduct or unethical business practices
• Replace or remove a member whose actions or support of issues lead to customer dissatisfaction, negatively impacting another member

Promoting SBC

Invite guests from open industry categories to showcase the benefits of our referral group and highlight the businesses of current members.
